Strange but true: When Karen was 16 she led a strike over school dinners that made it onto London Tonight.

Strange but true: Rory is allergic to cheesy biscuits after eating too many on a family holiday to Great Yarmouth in 1988.

Gina joined Channel4.com/food as editor in May 2008 and has gained a lot of weight since.
Strange but true: South African Gina spent her very early years in the UK, but didn't make a good impression: she was expelled from her pre-school in Wakefield for hitting a small boy over the head.
