Our Story

What we do

Since Zone's inception as a specialist sports publisher, we've come a long way.

In 1992 we launched Manchester United Magazine, the first commercially distributed club-specific football magazine. The project's resounding success (annual sales figures reached 2.4 million) led to further magazine launches, including the FA's England Magazine, news stand publications for Chelsea and AS Roma and Channel 5's launch magazine. Further success came in 1997 with the release of the official Spice Girls book for 19 Management. 'Girl Power' went on to become the most successful music publication ever.

In 2001 Zone merged with Quantum, a specialist IT consultancy with a roster of blue chip clients including PepsiCo, Thomson Holidays and Microsoft. Award-winning work for Channel 4's film and cricket websites were the first results of the new venture and their technical wizardry has since become integral to our ongoing development.

Further expansion followed, leading to the launch of our sister agency in 2005: our colleagues at Public Zone work with clients in the public and voluntary sectors.

"I can't speak highly enough of Zone's team and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them."
