We generated a 10 per cent year-on-year increase in conversion for the UK's leading magazine subscription site. Great Magazines is the UK's leading magazine subscription website, featuring more than 50 titles from Bauer Media, including Heat, FHM and Grazia.
Bauer appointed Zone to undertake a comprehensive review of the site, which included an SEO audit, quantitative analysis and usability tests.
Based on our recommendations, we then proposed a revised site structure and creative presentation. Our creative team developed a visual look-and-feel, with a simpler navigation, enhanced calls to action and improved merchandising across the site.
We devised a standalone Flash 'Magazine Chooser' to meet the specific requirement of gift purchasers in the run-up to Christmas, and provided front-end CSS/HTML for integration with Bauer's existing platform infrastructure.
The changes were launched in October 2009, and delivered a 10 per cent year-on-year increase in conversion, including the key pre-Christmas sales period.
