Chocs away...

We’ve run the Channel 4 Food website since launch in October 2007.  It’s a great project, and our brilliant team run a hugely successful site. But once a year, in early March, Channel 4 Food really comes in to its own.

As Easter approaches, couriers start arriving with packages addressed to the 4Food team.  Chocolate packages.  Dozens and dozens of chocolate packages, from every retailer, confectioner and chocolatier in Europe.

There are so many, that there’s no way the 4Food team can possibly taste them all.  So the rest of us step into the breach, bravely stuffing our faces until we feel sick.  And all in the name of independent food journalism.

It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
