Fashion (finally) finds its place in cyberspace

There’s no denying that the digital revolution has rapidly changed the face of many an industry. Music, and the entertainment sector in general, has intrinsically transformed its landscape to meet the needs of its receptors. Fashion seemed to be the only remaining industry to refrain from cyber activity, clinging onto its conventional roots.

iPad opens new opportunities for innovative apps

Having downloaded and experimented with the iPad simulator included in the new SDK, I am struck by how much the large screen and touch area can transform the type of apps that are possible when compared to the iPhone.

Web development - a new era

As a web developer, I feel that we are moving into some pretty exciting times. First, it seems that big companies are slowly starting to listen to the grumble associated with IE6 and are moving to IE8. The other exciting news comes in the new HTML5 and CSS3 specifications.

Typeface - The Documentary

I came across this trailer on the interweb today and felt quite captivated by it. Typeface tells the tale of the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Run solely by volunteers, the museum is the only one of its kind, "dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type."
